What can I pawn?
Pawning Items
Well, first of all, we don't take anything that eats. Kids acting up? Heck no, we don't want 'em either. Spouse getting on your nerves? Sorry, but we don't need that particular headache. Let's just get that out of the way, right now! Nip it in the bud, as they say. And, yes, people have tried. Half-heartedly? Maybe, at least we hope so. But, they HAVE asked!
Some other items we have turned down, sometimes regretfully:
- the family pet
- a very particular class of appliances, let's call them "marital aids"
- a velvet painting of Elvis
- unclassified "science experiments"
... And so much more. You would think after over 100 years in this business, we have seen it all, but even we keep getting surprised, occasionally.
But, on a more serious note, down to business and things we DO accept.
We offer short term loans on most anything of value. Jewelry is often the first thing that comes to mind; a ring, a bracelet or necklace, even if it's broken. Watches? From everyday watches to higher end luxury watches, we will lend you money on it. Firearms? Handgun or long gun, pistol or revolver, rifle or shotgun; we loan cash on all of them. These aren't your only options. We also accept tools; from power tools like drills, routers, and saws, to hand tools. And, the list goes on and on. How about electronics, such as televisions, DVD or BluRay players, home stereo equipment, DJ equipment, and speakers? What about laptops and computers? Video game consoles? You bet, we accept all of those too, and so much more. Then there's the musical instruments. We routinely make loans on guitars, keyboards, and band instruments, such as clarinets, flutes, saxophones, violins, etc. As you can see, we accept a lot of items from a variety of categories. In fact, too many to list here. But, if your item isn't listed here, give us a call and ask our highly experienced and very knowledgeable staff. They are happy to help.

Hey, Did You Know?
That broken necklace or bracelet sitting on your dresser, or in a drawer of your jewelry box? If it's gold, it still has value, and we will buy it, or even offer you a loan on it.
